Health & Safety
The health and safety of our girls is of paramount concern to us. There is constant surveillance by members of staff to ensure that children are in safe zones, a Health and Safety manual that defines procedures is continually updated in an attempt to ensure that all areas of safety are re-looked at. The School Rules are designed with safety in mind. Children are involved in planning and organising emergency evacuations in case of natural disasters, to ensure community involvement.
Infirmary
The school infirmary has a full-time doctor, three nurses and four ayahs who work round the clock ensuring that unwell girls are taken care of. An equipped ambulance is on stand-by 24 hours. We also have a panel of specialists in the city to whom we refer cases which require their expertise.
Culture
The culture of the school is strongly pastoral. Teachers are known to be gentle and nurturing and the girls develop strong bonds with them. In fact, new students, particularly comment on this factor. Senior students also take care of their juniors and the Council initiates many sessions encouraging the girls to talk, share and express themselves through discussions, activities etc. We also have a full time Counsellor on campus.
