Graduation Ceremony
In the words of Eleanor Roosevelt, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
The Graduation ceremony for Class 12 batch of 2019 (ISMET) was held on Nov 30 in the school foyer. This day is an important milestone in the life of a student.
Our grade 12 students looked mature and grown up as they walked down dressed in their graduation gowns and hats. It was an environment where emotions ran high as the young girls reflected about their school life and how our Principal, teachers and parents had played a very important role supporting, guiding and teaching them during their years at Hopetown.
Our Principal Maya Ma’am gave a profound speech and read out the poem Phenomenal Woman by Maya Angelou. Every woman can relate to this poem. The poem also explains how to have confidence in yourself no matter how you look.
The occasion witnessed the candle lighting ceremony between the students of Grade XI and XII.
