On the 20th September the 15th Annual Athletics Meet was held at Hopetown Girls’ School. Students participated with great zeal, passion, and commitment. Sports Day is one of the yearly events that gives an opportunity for the whole school to come together. Apart from commemorating victories, sports meets also aim at imparting lessons on camaraderie to children.

A well coordinated march past was carried out by participating students of the four houses to the patriotic tune Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja. It was a pleasure to see the primary students of a Government run school in Bahadurpur also taking part in the march past. The atmosphere was charged with zeal and fervour.

All the track and field events saw a zealous participation of all four houses. The day was filled with exciting victories and near misses for all the houses. The intricacies of the techniques of Yoga and Karate displayed left the audience spellbound.

The much awaited tug-of-war was won by Emerald House.

The Zumba Display was a relieving pick-up in contrast to the aura of strong competition. Congratulations Emerald House for having achieved the Overall Trophy, the March Past Trophy and the Athletics Cup.
